Rare Connections: The Healthcare AI Innovation Summit with Kedrion

During New York Tech Week, InstaLILY AI and Kedrion Biopharma brought 100+ healthcare, AI, and investment leaders to the SoHo office to answer one question: where does AI move the needle for patients today?

On June 3, during New York Tech Week, InstaLILY and Kedrion Biopharma co-hosted the Rare Connections: Healthcare AI Innovation Summit at our SoHo office. Co-founders Amit Shah and Sumantro Das kicked off an afternoon that brought together more than 100 leaders, biopharma operators, manufacturers, distributors, specialty and infusion providers, health systems, diagnostics, investors, and the people building the models, around a single question: where does AI move the needle for patients today? The conversation traced three layers of healthcare that AI is changing.

AI is patterning rare disease data to help save lives

Kedrion's Chief Research and Innovation Officer, Andrea Caricasole, described how plasma holds thousands of proteins, but the industry turns only about two dozen into therapies and discards the rest as waste. AI now screens those discarded fractions at scale, prioritizing the most promising proteins and mapping them to ultra-rare diseases that have no treatment today. Work that once would have taken a lifetime now happens in a fraction of the time.

AI turns commercial execution data into next best actions

InstaSales™, InstaLILY's proprietary platform now deployed across large enterprises and all of Kedrion's U.S. commercial teams, captures and codifies field knowledge and serves it back as next best actions. The instincts that set a top performer apart can now scale to the entire team.

AI compresses the time between referral and treatment

Specialty pharmacy leaders from Soleo Health, Vital Care, and Local Infusion described how AI is closing the gap from referral to treatment, fighting payer denials in real time, and removing the administrative barriers that keep patients waiting.

A view from the frontier

Paige Bailey and Matt Ridenour from Google DeepMind joined us to show the room what today's most powerful models can do, including Gemini Live taking a medical report, generating a clinical interpretation, and communicating the findings in any language. Every disruptive technology has transformed these layers; AI scales them further.

Our thanks to Kedrion Biopharma and to every leader who spent the day doing the work with us, proof of a partnership that keeps moving science closer to patients.
