On May 25, InstaLILY made its Canadian debut, hosting the opening night of Toronto Tech Week alongside Google for Startups. Our Co-Founder & CEO Amit Shah sat down with Naveen Nigam, Head of Developer Relations, Americas at Google, for a fireside on what it takes to move AI out of the pilot phase and into the systems that run businesses.
The response was immediate: more than 600 signups on day one! Amit traced the line from InstaLILY's early days in the Google Accelerator to the launch the company is hitting now, and left the room with a single idea.
Specialization built the last decade. Learning speed builds the next. — Amit Shah, Co-Founder & CEO

The fireside also surfaced what may be the most important tip for the next generation of AI professionals: it is no longer possible to be a true professional by being good at just one thing. To stay on top in an AI world, you have to be your own engineer, analyst, and strategist at once: self-provoked, moving across disciplines instead of settling into a single lane. And in the end, it isn't IQ that gets you there. It's LQ — your learning quotient, how fast you can absorb and adapt as the technology moves.

Toronto gave us that same energy back, and with an office in the city on the horizon, we're just getting started.
